There is a mention of Joe Bailey’s podcast on a slide buy the video goes on to Christa talking about her experience?????

I watched One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest recently. Although it was sad in a lot of ways, I appreciated the acting and thought what a great example of how treating people as “not broken” can work magic.

I loved Helen and Bob’s sharing.

Yes, that experience story is from Joe Bailey’s podcast. The full podcast (about one hour) is available on Thriving in the Eye of the Hurricane Episode 7 Season 1.

I agree, Helen and Bob were amazing discussants (with Jane Tucker and Tina Puccio as occasional guests). Due to covid, we created a video on demand for each of the 24 MGI chapters. We all really enjoyed that project. The full set of these videos are under resources tab at myguideinside.com

Also wanted to comment that One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest is a great dramatic example of what we see in classrooms when we see them as Dr Pettit states: never broken, nothing lacking. Today I was thinking about the high school students I taught MGI to as a pilot and how they would come to class each week brimming with stories of how they saw the principles in action in their other courses.

    Movies are great examples.
